My mom knew of a poem that my father wrote but could never locate it. Believe it or not, she searched the house vehemently but to no avail. Until, when my nephew was murdered at the age of 19 years after my dad's passing) my sister-in-law called a psychic who came to their house and when my mom asked her about the poem; she told her exactly where it was, I know it sounds phenomenal but it is true. I had the poem published in a book of poetry. It goes like this:

If I were a star, I would twinkle so bright,

I would watch over you all day and night.
I would be close to God, in Heaven above,
I would twinkle and twinkle to the ones that I love.

If I were a star, I would sleep all day,
I would twinkle all night and hear people say
"What a beautiful star, it twinkles so bright,
It must love us all, it twinkles so bright.
It's not there in the daytime, in Heaven it must be,
I just know that star is watching over me."

If I were a star, no more troubles would there be,
Everyone would be too busy looking at me.
But I am not a star, I'm just plain ol' me.
But maybe someday a star I might be.
If that day comes, I'll twinkle so bright!
You'll know I'm watching over you all day and all night!
